Were better with him in 1st half . But hav to ask if he was fit enough to play ? Was playin him actually worth the risk ?

Thats a positive comment then eh?  Face facts, he played first half, concede one goal.  Not paying second half, concede three goals and had no sense of leadership and no focal point in midfield - go figure

I think its time Beasley got another try on the wing to be honest... Rothen has been dire, Lafferty is not a winger, Fleck aint either... and id rather have Naismith on the right...

While I agree we need all our players fit and ready, I do not believe Mendes will be such a big loss. If it forces Smith to bring in somebody who has a point to prove and will fight for the team, it could even be a blessing in disguise.

Sorry, but that is how I feel about Mendes. And as for Beasley - please, don't joke at a time like this. The guy has failed every test put in front of him, he is unfortunately "a man short".

With the current squad we have Mendez being out for a while is a big loss. But I can see it coming..... when we win it will be he was useless and we don't need him and when we don't it it will be get fit soon Pedro we need you. Poor geezer.

Thomson and Ferguson have had that in the last year, why not Mendes?

One thing I do notice though is that players are always better when they are injured than when they are fit.

i've always made my feelings about mendes clear, i dont like the fact he can turn up for 10 minutes in a game and everyone praises him but i dont want him out the team through injury, i would prefer to have had the choice to play him , the main problem i had was when he was having a bad game walter wouldn't sub him so he has always seen himself as untouchable, hence the fact he only turns up on the park when it suits him.
